Sandrine Holt was born Sandrine Ho on 19 November 1972 in London. Her parents are the Chinese father and a French mother. As a young girl and her family left the Chinese region to Canada. Models from Paris were catwalk models before her first venture as an actor. Her film debut was as Annuka In Black Robe (1991). For this role she received nominations for her role in the Genie Award the Canadian Oscar. Rapa Nui Rise in Paradise The Legend of Pocahontas & Dance with the Murderer, along with guest appearances in Poltergeist The Uncanny Force as well as Outer Limits The Unknown Dimension followed. The actress was the main character in John Woo's The Thief for 22 episodes. Starship Troopers 2 Hero of the Federation as well Resident Evil Apocalypse followed in 2004. In 2006, she managed to be offered a more prominent series role in 24 -- Twenty Four and Runaway. Following guest appearances in series and smaller roles in films Holt took on a leading part in Hostages in 2013 and a supporting role in the Netflix show House of Cards. Holt appeared as Julie Han as part of the US remake The Returned and Dr. Bethany Exner.
